Another eye look today and this one has a little bit of sparkle added to it! It’s a bit more of a fun look, and I finally got to try out some glitter tears.
Here’s the products I used :
This look is mostly about blending and product placement. My tip for a good halo eye is to use your iris as a guide for where to put that central colour, which in my case was green.

Another lip look coming at you today, weirdly involving a lot of products from NYX Cosmetics. I really love NYX. Their makeup is professional quality but at affordable prices which strikes a great balance for people like me who are aspiring to go professional but don’t quite have the money to stock up with more expensive brands like ABH and MAC.
The products I used were :
From this you can see that nail art gems really aren’t just for nail art, in fact, they’re the perfect size for cute embellishments around the eyes or on the lips like I did today!

I’m giving my eyes a rest today so my skin can recover so I’ve gone back to my lips instead. This liquid lipstick is my new favourite, mostly because it actually smells like watermelon. Jeffree Star hit the nail on the head with his lipsticks (and is anyone else super excited for the Lip Ammunition range?).
The products I used were:
I’m all about using liquid eyeliner as lip liner. It works so well and means you can have super vibrant colours and even a few sparkles, hope you like it!

Today I went for a quick and simple lip look, pairing together two lipsticks from my collection that I love because of how bright they are! (And of course there’s some glitter in there, this is me we’re talking about)
The products I used were :
I think this look is pretty self-explanatory. I just put each of the colours on each lip and dabbed some glitter on my cupids bow and along the bottom of bottom lip!
Hope you enjoy 😘

A nice, quick and easy one for you today. You just need three things as well as a steady hand!
So first I applied my lipstick as a base. In this case it was pink, but you can choose any colour that you like. I then took a matching pigment and a packing brush and dabbed that all over the lipstick to give it a shimmer. To finish, I went around the whole thing with white liquid liner. Make sure you take care to make it as even as you can but you can always clean up any mistakes with concealer if you need to!
Opinions? Any lip art looks you’d like to see me do?

For today’s look I’ve dipped into something seasonal. Right now it’s the time for warm browns, rusts and gold. It’s coming into autumn! But of course I couldn’t resist adding a bit of glitter and sparkle. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t!
It’s a long list of products today, but here you go :
Yesterday I gave you the run down on how I do my base, so I’m going to jump right into my eye makeup. Today I went for another cut crease, so with a light brown colour (shade 6), I shaped out the crease with an angled brush. Then I took a fluffy brush and blended it out a little. Then I took a bronze colour (shade 12) and blended upwards towards my brow from the inner corner of the crease to the centre of the crease with a small fluffy brush. With the same brush I dipped into a darker brown that still had some shimmer to it (shade 27) and blended from the centre of the crease to the outer corner. To define the cut a little more, I took a tiny packing brush and dipped into some black (shade 26). I blended that out with the fluffy brush that still had the dark brown shade on it.
I then took some concealer and carved out and cleaned up the cut crease. With the first brown shade I used, I laid down a base on the lid, leaving a few millimetres gap between the cut and the shadow on the lid. I then covered this with some glitter primer and patted on some brown glitter from the inner corner to the centre, and from the centre outwards I patted on gold glitter.
Next I took my felt tip eyeliner and drew on a small wing, also adding a tiny one in the inner corner of my eye. With a white eyeshadow (shade 1) I added an inner corner highlight. With the tiny packing brush that had the black on, I ran that underneath my lower lash line, before taking the fluffy brush that had the brown on to blend and smoke it out a bit. Some mascara and false lashes and I was done!
For the lips I first lined my lips with a dark brown liquid lipstick. I also over-line my lips because I have a small top lip so I like to try and make it look fuller. Then I filled in the middle of my lips with gold lipstick, smacked my lips together for a good blend and the look was complete.
What do you think? What are you thinking for your fall looks?

Today sees the first full look that I’ve done. In the post this morning I received a lovely package that contained my first ever liquid lipstick from Jeffree Star Cosmetics and I was so excited to try it that a whole look had to come from it for my 100 days challenge.
Here’s everything I used:
Firstly, I apply a pea-sized amount of primer all over my face and then I go in with my foundation and use a large oval brush to apply it. I then take a small, angled brush and carve and fill in my brows before going in with my concealer to clean up the edges. Then with my concealer, I paint triangles beneath my eyes, a stripe down the centre of my nose and a v on my chin, before blending all of that out with a damp beauty blender. For contouring, I first get my base with a cream contour, drawing a tiny stripe beneath cheekbones and then blending it out with a beauty blender. I then draw three small lines around my forehead and blend those out too. With a flat bronzer brush, I take a powder contour and set the cream and add extra definition. With a small oval brush, I use the same powder and contour my nose. I then use a powder brush and add blush to the apples of my cheeks, and then a fan brush to apply highlighter to my cheekbones, tip and bridge of my nose and my brow bones. Base : done.
For my eyes, I drew a simple wing with my Vivid Brights liner and added three dots with a small dotting tool of white liner underneath the wing. Add some mascara and I’m done!
For the lips, I just applied a generous coat of the Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick. I love this shade and I love the fact that it actually smells light watermelon even more. To finish I applied some highlighter to my cupids bow.
So there we go. I hope you love it. What shade of Jeffree’s Liquid Lipstick should I invest in next?

Well hello there! It’s the first of September and so I have decided that from now until the 9th December I shall be taking on the #100DaysOfMakeup challenge over on my instagram!
For those of you who don’t follow my instagram (though you totally can here), I’ll be posting the looks here with a mini step by step and the list of products I used so you can re-create them if you wish.
So today I’m kicking it off with a look I’ve named Rocky Road because the colour scheme reminded me of the sweet treat. My product list is as follows:
So for the eyes, I firstly drew my wing in black liner. My top tip would be to draw the height of your wing first i.e from the outer corner of your eye up towards your eyebrow, and then, with a sponge so you don’t get grubby fingers on your makeup if you’re the kind who does foundation first, gently pull the skin taut. Then draw a line from the most hooded part of your eye until it meets the line you’ve previously drawn. You should then get the perfect flick and its just a case of joining it to your lash line.
I then took a pink liquid liner and lined the top edge of the wing. With a white liquid liner, I placed a splodge on my hand and dipped a small dotting tool into it to create the dots in my inner corner and underneath the wing.
For the lips, I first outlined the lips in a brown liquid lipstick. I then took a light pink lipstick and a small lip brush and painted in the middle. To add more colour and shimmer, I stippled on some pink pigment and it was as simple as that!
I hope you’re going to join me on this journey and are looking forward to it as much as I am. There’ll be a category on here so you can find all my looks easily.

For this week, I’ve decided to try one of the looks that was demo’d to me at the weekend in the masterclass I attended (read my post all about that here). I loved this look because it combined simple techniques wit bright colours that creates a look that’s perfect to wear to all of the upcoming festivals.
So Nic Schuller created a look used watered down eyeliner and eyeshadow to create a paint splattered contour and highlight look, as you can see here:
The effect is really easy to recreate and is so versatile. You can pick your favourite colours and just go wild. I decided to use my NYX Vivid Bright Liners in Violet and Petal for my look. I lined the lower waterline with white to make my eye seem bigger and brighter and lined my lower lashes with bright yellow to really tie the look together. But of course, because I’m a glitter junkie, I couldn’t help but to add a bit of my own flair with some white glitter along the far edge towards my hairline. You could even go a little bit further and get really creative by drawing little flowers amongst the splatter or adding gems with eyelash glue wherever you wish.
Here is my finished look:
So what do you think?
I’ll leave a list of the products that I used below. If you give this a go, don’t forget to tag Nic on Instagram!
